 Grup Scolar Industrial de Transporturi Auto Baia Sprie   was founded in 1977 when the former theoretical school became a technical high school, training in the field of transport. During the years to come new types of training were added: COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION and SPORT. We have different types of school schedules: day school, evening school and low attendance.

            In 2002 the school was part of a PHARE-VET project - school infrastructure rehabilitation and quality standards implementation in education. Together with other high schools from Baia Mare we coordinate the implementation of the quality standards in education in technical schools in the county of Maramures.

Our school has European teaching material resources, modern classrooms and workshops, a very well prepared teaching staff and additional staff.
